Change to original Desktop View

One of the users “change” her desktop view, and I can’t change to stardar view, the desktop shows with the system Task, other places & Details Column at the very left side of the desktop, reducing the desktop size, I’d tired to change the screen settings & view with out success, what I did was restore the PC to another day, the view was gone, but this can happen again?, any suggestions?
