cmd commands won’t work

When I open cmd, and e.g. type PING or TRACERT it just returns a message saying:
“ping” wasn’t recognized as an internal or external command, a program or a batch file…

I’ve set my firewall to allow all ICMP traffic, but it doesn’t work..

Can someone please help me??
(my router is a zyxel prestige 2000)
