Every time I attempt to convert a video file my comp turns off. When I start it up again I get that “Windows shut down unexpectedly” message. I started Windows normally and checked the event logs.
At first I kept getting this error: Event ID 10
//./root/CIMV2 SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60
WHERE TargetInstance ISA “Win32_Processor” AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99 0x80041003
I fixed that with a patch/fix that I downloaded directly from Microsoft.
I tried several more times to covert a video file and the comp still continued to shut down. Each time it shut down I started Windows normally and read the event logs and now I keep getting this event/error: Event ID 1022 .NET Runtime
.NET Runtime version 4.0.30319.296 – There was a failure initializing profiling API attach infrastructure. This process will not allow a profiler to attach. HRESULT: 0x80004005. Process ID (decimal): 3040. Message ID: [0x2509].
I thought maybe there was a problem with the software I was using(Any Video Converter Free) since the only time there is a problem is when I try to convert a video file, so I uninstalled it, made sure there was nothing left of it and installed a different program. I keep getting the same error and the computer shuts down every time I try to convert a video from one format to another.
I am running Win7 Home prem with Sp1 64bit on a comp with a Athlon II x4 630 processor with at least 2gb ram. It has a ATI Radeon HD 5500 Series display adapter.
Is there a good way to fix this problem without having to format the HDD and re-install Windows?
