Hi guys i am a computer tech and i need a littile help my pc keeps restarting when ever i am like half and hour in the game or more but it just randomly restarts.
pc specs are
cpu-AMD phenom 2 x6 2.8GHZ 1055t
ram- 6 gig DDR3 1333 MHZ
Graphics card-amd readeon 6870 256 bit DDR5
power supply- 550 wat
HDD- 1TB
i have 3 verry big fans in my pc besides the ones on the powersupply cpu and graphics card
i dont know if its a over heating problem or if my cpu is overheating cause yesterday i opend up my pc i took off my cpu fan and cleaned the dust off and off the heat sink my cpu does seem to be out of thermal past but i dont think that could be such a major problem
my graphics card on idl runs 40 degrees
I have tried testing my graphics card using furmark and 3d mark 11 my pc didn’t restart it only restarts when i play games i didn’t overclock my graphics card it bran new only one month old and my graphics card is more then enough to run those games and yes i have unticked automaticaly restart on system failure so that i would get a blue screen next time it restarted and i didn’t it just restarted with out any error i dont know what the problem is and i need help coz i dont wana be buying parts that arnt really needed.
