cookie/.exe problem…

Hello all…

I recently ran into a real pain in the ass…

Somehow, this online portal called lop.com has downloaded and installed an .exe Flash movie on my comp. (along with automatically changing my homepage to theirs without permission) I have tried deleting the cookies, the .exe file, all things ‘lop’ on my computer, but when I log back in (multiple accounts on a WinXP Pro machine); their it is on my desktop: this little draggable Flash movie…that WONT GO AWAY.

I am not sure who to ask for help ( I feel like a bit of a newbie not being able to get rid of it…embarassing…lol), any ideas?? This has got to go against some kind of privacy law of some sort.

Any help would be great.
