copy paste functions disables when I open a vb based program

Hi,
I have installed a software for data entry purpose, designed in VB6.0,but whenever I run that program it dosn’t allow me to copy and paste.Even my copy, paste options get disabled while using notepad ,Internet explore, MS office or any othe program.Once I close that program copy paste functions work perfectly.I think that is intentionally done by programmer to avoid data entry by copy paste options.How to solve this problem?
