copying font to G5

question 1:
I have a mix network, MAC-Windows server… i have to transfer some font from an old MAC to a new MAC G5, to do that, the user is putting those fonts on the server (windows 2000) and then grabbing them with the G5 from the server… the problem is that when the user puts the font on the server they appear as 0 bytes files, is there an special “trick” to install those fonts in the new G5?
