Creating virtual directories to Novell 5

Web server is NT 4/SP6a with front page extentions. We are trying to create virtual directories to shared directories on a Novell 5 server so that documents can be transfered using ftp to the Novell server.

Directory structure can be seen but IISshows ERROR. IIS status is “The specified network password is not correct.” From IE5 browser user is presented with dialog for user id and password but nothing is accepted.

What have we missed?
