Crystal Report 8.5 with Visual Basic 6.0

I have been having problems using my Crystal Report 8.5 with vb 6.0. The Crystal Report disconnects from VB. The problem is more disturbing because it only disconnects after making the package thus you do not really have the ptoblem at design time.
I seriously need help on this.!
