CTL > ALT> DEL

I recently encountered an issue where I had a WIN NT 4 Server constantly return a “Begin Login….Press CTL + ALT + Delete to log on” splash screen AFTER entering the ID, Password and Domain.

No messages, errors, or anything, it just brought me back to the login screen.

I searched Microsoft, I searched Technet, I have asked dozens of IT professionals and nobody had an answer. I ultimately ending up reinstalling the OS.

Has anyone ever come across this before.
