Cutting edge problem

Hi,

I want to develop a software which will automaticaly generate cutting images for the leather manufacturing industry.
The problem is commmonly known as Nesting or Cutting edge problem.

I tried to search web but didn’t find any suitable information about the particular problem and its solution and nor find any already developed component.

Does any one have any information about the already developed component(Free or priced both) for solving this problem or the sites which have solution.

Early reply would be more helpfull.
