Dell comes with spyware pre-installed

an IT company founder is suing dell after finding My Way Search Assistant pre-installed on his brand new computer. He tried to remove it with anti-spyware, finally gave up and called dell who charged him $49 to remove it. He says this is like your doctor infecting you so he can charge you to cure the infection.

I guess this does not hurt my perception of how dell treats its consumer type customers. My opinion of them is already in the toilet.
