Designing an NT multiple domain network

I am interested in any material that could give me an idea of how to approximate the number and placement of DNS, WINS and DHCP servers. I am setting up a multiple domain network (coast to coast coverage) and want to begin planning for how many DNS,WINS and DHCP servers I will need and the best place to locate them.
