Disable IP Autoconfiguration in Win XP?

How can I permanently disable the IP Autoconfiguration “feature” in Windows XP Pro.

I have an executive using XP on his laptop and it keeps screwing with this wireless connect because it constantly is autoconfiguring the IP info for his wireless interface.
