Disconnect from Microsoft / Account Verification Issues

by ng_kognito . Updated 12 years ago

There was a very nice article on a work around for WIN 8 account verification issues (being told you have to re-sign in to Microsoft, but being unable to) in which we were told to “disconnect” from our Microsoft account, and then create a local account.

When I log in to my microsoft on line account, there is no disconnect from microsoft button to be found. How do you disconnect?

I cannot access ANY of the microsoft tiles/apps which came on my computer EVEN “settings” so I cannot see how to do this.

My only other choice I can see is to completely reinstall WIN 8.

Any advice? Thanks!
