Disconnecting a station after inactivity

by cswearingen . Updated 25 years, 10 months ago

We are a small mental heath and drug counceling facility. I have set up a Windows 95 PC set up for access to our Novell 4.11 network via Client 32 v3.20 for anywone with a valid login or the guest login.
The PC is used for access to Groupwise email, the Help Desk database and the Internet.
I would like to force the PC to disconnect from the network and require a login after a period of inactivity (say 2-5 minutes) to protect the email boxes and network shares.
Is there a way to accomplish this without affecting the staff that have PCs who might need to use this shared computer for the Internet access periodically?
I can’t force all logins to disconnect as some computers should remain logged in even if the user is away (say counseling a client). This is why I want it to be related to the PC instead of the login.
