We’ve recently upgraded to Office ’97. We are running NT workstations on a Netware 4.11 network. When in an Office application, if the users goto Open on the file menu, the path is too long to display and as the drive letter is the last piece of info on the line, it’s not viewable. At the moment a user might see something like..” Appls on ‘Abc-er-ehq-01\Vo…” instead of “Appls on ‘Abc-er-ehq-01\Vol1’ (I:)” We need the users to be able to see what drive they are opening (most users have access to about 12 different drive letters, so it is becoming confusing).
