DNS and domains

I recently bought few PCs and a srong IBM e-server and all those boxes are configured with Windows 2000 server. First, I want the server to deal with all the user accounts. So I have to build a domain with that server and configure the other PCs as part of the domain, right ? Next, I want to get a (.com) and run an apache server on there. How do I have to proceed ?
