Does anyone make polaroid filters for video projectors?

Standing in front of the screen, I sometimes get the beam from the slide projector full in the face. One simple solution to this problem would be to put a clear polarised filter over the projector lens. I could then wear clear crossed-polarised clip-ons over my glasses and the beam from the projector wouldn’t bother me.
