Does Anyone Write Case Studies For A Living?

I thought about writing case studies as a career; I heard the pay is good, and it’s relatively easy to write verses just writing white papers. I’m pretty good at writing and interviewing people, so I think I have a shot. My niche is in digital marketing. I want to write case studies on how the internet positively changed someone’s life.
Do you guys think I have the potential to be a successful case writer? I heard the tech space is the most lucrative.
