Does Macbook Pro have a restore partition?

Does Macbook Pro have a restore partition? I do not usually deal with Macbook laptops – customer came in with a Macbook Pro still under warranty but having software issues. She does not have any documentation or DVDs. I’m wondering if the laptop comes with a restore option and if so, how do I access it?
