Rocky Lhotka, creator of the CSLA.NET development framework and Microsoft Regional Director, wrote a guest blog (http://www.outercurve.org/Blogs/EntryId/86/-Net-Windows-apps-better-with-open-source-by-guest-blogger-Rocky-Lhotka) for the Outercurve Foundation detailing the rise of open source development tools for Windows and .NET as well as sharing his experiences with them. “My deeply rooted hope is that developers are able to build better software, and further their careers by using and contributing to open source projects now and into the future,” he said.
