Microsoft now has an ad featuring “Bear” Velasquez enraptured by a double rainbow. The ad asks “How do you fit a double rainbow in a single shot? You don’t. But with Microsoft Live Photo Gallery you can use Photo Stitch…” The ad has gone viral.
The irony is that Bear is standing in front of an impossible scene – a double rainbow with red on the outside of both arcs! Whoever “created” the sky in this ad neither used Live Photo Gallery nor consulted any existing photos or texts. D’oh! (It’s also missing both leprechaun and unicorn.)
