Dual Monitor with DisplayPort and VGA?

Hi Everyone,

I just had a new computer hooked up at work and I’m wondering if it will support dual-monitors. It has a displayPort and a VGA port.

Ideally, I’d like to get a DVI -> dP adapter and hook up one monitor that way and the other via the VGA port. Would this even work?
How about a splitter on the displayPort?

My video card says its Intel(R) 4 Series Internal Chipset, I’m not familiar with that 🙁

I’m totally open to any ideas, but they have to be external.
