Duplic entries beans.ocx.Is it normal?

Running CNets Catch up,i found out that i have duplicate entries of beans.ocx and a lot more duplicate exe,dll,and others.I run Win98 with Borlands JBuilder3.5 and C++ Builder 3.
I also have some utilities installed like the TweakUI and RegClean and MSword2000,also Norton AV and ZoneAlarm firewall.Also MSN messenger and OUtlook Ex[ress.
Can anyone tell me if it is ok to have al the double entries like Command.com (3 duplicates present in different folders of my hard drive)and also some applications like Acrobat that show 2 duplicates but different versions.How do i remove them,(if i have to remove them in the first place)
