Dynamics CRM Issue

We’re using Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 with Outlook 2010. When we make a change to the system settings from the web interface, is there a way to force Outlook to pick up these changes? Sometimes it takes on a few minutes, some times it takes a long time to pick up the changes (usually this is adding fields to a View or fields to a form).
