error message 0x80040707

Hi There, can anyone help me please??? I have recently installed a new video card, ATI radeon 9550 onto my machine, whilst the drivers have installed ok and the card is working I cannot install the software due to the error 0x80040707 displaying half way through operation?? Is it the disk? Someone told me it was an AGP chipset problem, if that is the case how do I upgrade it?? Please help, many thanks
