Error Trying to Delete Java — Can someone Help me on this problem?

I have Windows 7 and have install Java version 6 update24. But, now that I want to unistall Java using Control Panel, it gives me the following error message:
“ERROR 1723. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.”
Can anybody help me with this problems? Thanks
