This is the weirdest thing I’ve seen.
I started up my Mac G5 just a little while ago. I had been using it, per normal, most of today.
I started up Entourage. I was asked to configure it. Every setting and email that was there before was gone. Not a big deal, I don’t use it as an email account.
I start up Firefox. Again, it was as if it was the first time. Bookmarks: all gone. This part has happened before, apparently does this after a period of time.
I started up Safari, which had most of the same bookmarks. Operative word: had. It was as if I was starting it up for the first time.
I started up Camino. Same thing.
Have I lost everything forever or just the pointer to it? Can anything be recovered, and if so, how? What can I do to overcome this???
