EXCEL REPORTING

I need a toll that will allow me to track both recieved emails and sent files. Ultimately, the thought process is to track the turn around response from when the email was received and resolved. Scenario: An email is sent to a team that resolves issues. The team that resolves issues will be tracked on how quickly they resolve the issue. Is there a tool out there that captures this functionality? Thank You
