Exchange Server Error.

Hi, I have installed exchange server 2000 on a cleanly installed windows 2000 server machine, the installation went through fine but after the installation i am unable to get connected to server. When i try to click browse it gives back an error saying

Microsoft Exchange server did not respond.

Microsoft Exchange Directory ID no: DS_E_COMMUNICATIONS_PROBLEM.”

All the services are running fine, Have no firewall installed on the machine.

Any idea anyone?
