External Hard Drive not detected by Windows Explorer but seen in Device Mgr

Hello Everyone,

I have an MSI external hard drive that I can’t be seen in Windows Explorer, but can be seen in Device Manager. I was previously able to scan the disk with my Virus Scanner, but unfortunately when I was about to access the HD itself, Windows Explorer crashed. I tried going back to Computer > Hard Disk Drives, it can’t be seen anymore. Though it can still be seen in device manager and I can still safely remove the unit. What can I do to restore it without reformatting? What software can I use?
