Facebook/Instagram cant sahre issue

Greetings.
My friend has asked me to look in to this issues as he is self employed and up to his eyeballs in work. The issue is…
he is a self employed artist obviously he uses social media to promote his work but for some reason he cant do any of the following

On Instagram, Cant post text on image
other people cant share or comment on his posts or images this is the same for facebook as well.

Its not his PC as it effects everyone.
It has lasted a few months

it is maybe due to he started using shopify.com it has created a problem

Has reported the problem to FB and Instagram no luck.

Any thoughts?
