Firefox with Adware?

I recently had to uninstall/reinstall Firefox 3.6, and when I did, I picked up 3 different malware/adware hits from my scanners (Online Armor, Avast and Ad-Aware). All three just about had fits with something called Seekmo. Have you heard of it? Is this something I just picked up, or is it incorporated into Firefox? A couple other files got stopped by the scanners, but since I immediately dumped all of the Firefox files, I’m not too worried. Though I did run a scan, just in case. Even after blocking Seekmo, I still found several lingering Seekmo files in a directory, and so deleted them also. I LIKE Firefox. Any idea what gives?
