fixxing load order of apps

Ever since I installed the latest patches for win98 on it’s partition and the win2K patches on it’s partition I am getting a flakey application start-up problem on both op-systems.

The items on the taskbar never load in the same order consistantly. Under some load orders everything works 100%, under other orders I get “this application has cause an… and will be shut down” and still other orders lock my system entirely.

HOW CAN I FORCE APPS AT START-UP TO LOAD IN AN EXACT SEQUENCE EVERY TIME IN BOTH WIN98 and WIN2K
