I have a 1GB Kanguru Micro MP3 Pro MP3 Player. When I plug it into my computer, Windows makes the chiming sound that it detected the USB flash drive, but when I go into My Computer, the drive isn’t there. I tried assigning it a drive letter via Disk Management, to no avail. I can browse the disk’s contents through Disk Management, and read/write to the drive through that application, but I still can’t find it in My Computer or Windows Explorer. I did find that if I go into Internet Explorer after assigning the flash drive a letter and type that letter into the address bar and press enter, I can see the drive in Windows Explorer, but not My Computer and as soon as I restart or pull the drive out I can’t see it in either My Computer or Windows Explorer anymore. I had this problem a few weeks ago and got it working after I found a fix on a forum that had me delete certain registry keys and restart. But I can’t remember the forum or the registry keys. Its not a problem with the flash drive because it works on other computers just fine and it is plugged into a USB 2.0 port on my computer. Thanks for any help anyone can give me!
