flash file to gif

Hi everyone,

Can anybody teach me how to convert a flash file to gif or jpeg so I can use as my desk top background. I designed an animated image but came out as a flash file so please help me out.
If not possible, can u show me how to design animated image to use as desktop background without saving it as a flash file?
