Forgot to install new disk controller drivers w/new mobo install

I’ve installed new mobo’s a number of times w/out problem; but this time I forgot to install new hard disk controller drivers when I installed a new mobo. So, on initial boot of XP I got BSOD and error: Stop: 0x0000007e. I then tried to do a repair of XP and so now I can’t boot into safe mode.

Is there any way to use Remote Console to load new disk controller drivers, w/out doing a full install of XP? Really new help!!
