freelance file..

i got a Freelance file, i can no longer use because it was in use when my O.s ( win95) crashed..now, when i want to open it, freelance is saying me that the file is already open…it seems to me as something like a file header who hasn’t been written as a closed file….Anyone could help me…I would appreciate it a lot…Tahnks a million in advance !!!!
