front page sub webs

i have a web site that is hosted by a hosting co.
I have created sub-web folders for security and
now i have a sub-web that i cannot access using frontpage 2002. Everything was fine up til now.
That hosting co. is linux based. w/ frontpage extentions. I was thinking of 2 things,one is to rename the folder and re-create a sub-web. the other was to delete the _vt folders that frontpage creates. The other sub-webs are fine and i can access them without a problem. Any ideas with be appreciated….
