I created an FTP site in a Windows 2000 Domain Controller. I set the Security Account to allow anonymous connections. I also have a Web site running on the same computer. In our Intranet, I can connect to the FTP site. No problem.
Over the internet, when I connect to the FTP site, a Login As Dialog box appears asking me to enter a username and password. When I enter a valid username and password, I get the message my username or password is not valid.
Why is it still prompting me for a username and password when I already configured it to Allow Anonymous connections?
By the way, I am using the Symantec Raptor Firewall and I already mapped a public IP address to the private IP address of my Domain Controller/FTP Server. I can access our web page over the Internet.I also configured the firewall to allow FTP services.
Please help.
Thanks.
