Getting error while connecting to lotus notes database through ODBC

In one of my SSIS package i am trying to connect to the lotus notes database through ODBC driver.
I get following error when i try to connect –

The instruction at “0x00000000” referenced memory at “0x00000000”. The memory could not be “written”.

Once I say OK the second error pops out –

Driver’s SQLALLOCHANDLE on SQL_HANDLE_DBC failed

I am using following environment-

Operating system – Windows XP service pack 3
Visual Studio – Microsof Visual studio 2005 SSIS
ODBC Driver – Lotus note ODBC driver ( NOTESSQL 8 )
Lotus Notes Client Version – 8.5.1

Has anyone faced this issue earlier?

Please help.
