Hi,
I have recently made some changes to a group policy linked to our domain.
During the course of the changes I ran gpupdate to refresh the policy in
order to check all was well and it completed in 20-30 seconds. Now I find
that when I attempt to run gpupdate even with the wait:-1 switch it fails to
complete. I have subsequently removed the link between the policy and the
domain but it has made no difference. Just running gpupdate without any
switches gives the error message “user policy refresh has not completed in
the expected time.-exiting> computer policy refresh has not completed in the
expected time.-exiting. A search on the web has so far drawn a blank, can
anyone help?
