hard drive crash

one of our clients brought a pc and said it failed to start
when she turned it on it restarts itself. i then took it to the lab
and tested it.when i turned it on it ran the chkdsk and restarts
when it done.it kept on doing that.is there any thing wrong with the
hdd?
