Headset only displays system sounds. Speakers work fine

Hi. Both my headset and earphones randomly stopped working one day. The mic on the headset however works fine but no sound will go through the headset nor earphones not including the system sounds. I have updated drivers and did a sound test and tried putting it on default device but nothing is working.
Looking for solutions
