Hibernation file damaged in Win2K

by lasse_b-techrep . Updated 25 years, 10 months ago

Hi!
(Win2K)
Sometimes when I or the phone brings the computer out of Hibernation, it stops with the msgs that the Hibernation file is damaged, and suggest me to continue to do a normal boot instead.
What to do about this ?? First of all; why is the file damaged ?? It seems to happen mostly after defragmenting the HD. But Defrag isn’t even touching that file, or is it ??
Secondly; there must be a way to make it go do a “normal” boot by itself, instead of just hanging there for hours if itwas the phone that started the computer, and i’m not there ?! A Registry-tweak maybe, but where ??
