Having trouble sharing Internet, XP Professional.
I have three Pcs, Primary, Secondary, and Third.
Primary has been set as a Host and is connected to a DSL Modem prividing internet throught a DHCP IP address. I have installed two Ethernet cards, one for the Internet and one for the LAN. All three can see and share resources through the LAN card. The Host’s Internet Interface has been set to ICS and ICF, and the LAN interface on the Host has changed to 192.168.0.1. Secondary has a Static IP 192.18.0.10 and Third has been set to 192.168.0.11. According to Microsoft’s guideline I now need to select the adapter that connects the Host to the LAN under HOME NETWORKING CONNECTION.
Question is I don’t see this option anywhere.
(Supposed to appear when two Ethernet or more cards are installed).
Also, on Secondary and Third pcs I cannot configure Internet options for connection sharing , the NEVER DIAL A CONNECTION and LAN SETTINGS boxes which I’m supposed to clear are greyed out. Can someone please assist me in completing this internet connection, I need all three to share Internet. Thank you kindly
