How can be reduce the average of broadca

How can be reduce the average of broadcast packets on a NetWare and WinNT switch based structured network with Win95 workstations.
Fact is that I have 20-30% broadcast messages on workstations(IPX and TCP/IP protocols). Is it because of on TCP/IP protocol from workstations, DNS have broadcast node option type? If it is so , how can I change it?
