I have just purchased a USB card for my Pentium I, and when I try to intstall it, Windows 95 says it cannot find the correct driver. The card did not have any software with it, but said that Windows would have the proper drivers. I have checked that I am using a proper version of Windows 95 and I tried using the Windows 95 CD to install any drivers, but still no luck. I even downloaded a program called usbsupp.exe when my computer said that it could not be found, but still no luck. Is there a special trick to installing hardware into a PC that I am overlooking pehaps? I am by no means an IT specialist, but I have installed other hardware which I only needed to follow the directions and everything worked well. This one has me stumped.Any suggestions?
