How can I transfer therapist helper from my old computer to my new laptop?

I purchased a HP pavilion dm4 and i loaded my old therapist helper version 6.3 CD on my new laptop. I backed up my therapist helper date to a thumb drive and tried to restore the data but the program will not open up. What can I do? I have not had a service contract for a few years and only have a very small private practice.
